“Youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are the climate warriors of today."
In a remarkable display of environmental awareness and innovation, students Megha Singh and Vaidehi of Class XI (Medical stream) participated in the prestigious Climate Reality Project, an international movement aimed at empowering youth to take meaningful action against climate change.
As part of the project, participants were required to create a video presentation addressing local environmental challenges and proposing nature-based solutions. Megha and Vaidehi chose two pressing issues affecting the community—water logging and e-waste accumulation. Their work highlighted the causes, impacts, and sustainable remedies for these problems, including improved drainage planning, rainwater harvesting, and responsible e-waste collection and recycling strategies.
Their insightful research, eloquent presentation, and practical solutions earned them special recognition and an award at a felicitation ceremony held on 22nd November 2025 at Sapphire International School. The recognition marks a proud moment for the institution as it reflects the school’s continuous dedication to nurturing environmentally responsible citizens.
