Career Guidance Session

A Career Guidance Session was conducted on 14th November 2025 at Sparsh International School for the students of Class XI and XII, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Art & Design (IIAD). The session was facilitated by two renowned experts: Mr. Abhishek Kumar Verma, Associate Professor – Fashion Business Management, and Dr. Sunita Konwar, Head of the School of Management at IIAD.

Mr. Verma, with over 20 years of experience in prestigious global luxury brands such as Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Loro Piana, enlightened students about emerging career opportunities in Design and Fashion Business Management. He explained how creativity and management skills work together in the modern fashion industry and discussed evolving global trends.

Dr. Sunita Konwar, with 35+ years of academic experience and a Ph.D. in Economics from Mumbai University, guided students about various skill-based programs, the importance of multidisciplinary learning, and diverse career pathways in design, management, and entrepreneurship.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and asking relevant questions. They showed keen interest in understanding different design fields, industry expectations, and brand structures. Overall, the session was informative and inspiring, helping students explore exciting career possibilities beyond traditional choices.
