Career Counselling Session

CAREER COUNSELLING SESSION AT SPARSH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Sparsh International School organized a Career Counselling Session on Friday, January 30, 2026, for the grade X students, with Mr. Praveen Kumar, capital associate Vice President - Sparsh Academy, to provide guidance and support in exploring potential career paths. The session aimed to assist students in understanding their interests, strengths, and aspirations, and to provide them with resources and strategies for making informed career decisions.

The session began with lamp lighting by Mr. Praveen Kumar and the Principal Ms. Jyoti Rana followed by a captivating dance performance and melodious song presented by the students, setting a warm and enthusiastic tone for the session.

The speaker, Mr. Praveen Kumar started the session with a couple of activities to create a comfortable and interactive environment. Through guided exploration of various career options, he introduced the audience to different, job roles, and educational pathways..

In his speech, Mr. Praveen Kumar explained the importance of psychometric tests to identify an individual student’s  strength and interests and then consider actionable steps to work towards their goals. The question – answer session facilitated direct interaction between the audience and the speakers wherein the speakers addressed the uncertainties, the students and the parents have and clarified their doubts regarding the choice of streams.

The session concluded with a review of available resources, including career counseling services.

The session was chaired by the SIS Principal, Ms. Jyoti Rana and was attended by the staff members, the students of Sparsh International School and their parents. The session provided students with valuable insights, tools, and resources to navigate their career exploration journey effectively.
